This collection contains two color photographs of the Lyman E. Johnson headstone. Lyman E. Johnson is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Although various histories give his date death as 20 Dec. 1856, the headstone clearly gives the date as 20 Dec. 1859.

Lyman E. Johnson was born 24 Oct. 1811 and was an early member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
